Fantastic 4 (2015)

 

You have seen the Fantastic 4 from 2015.  It's a star studded cast with people you like, Miles Teller, for example.  All the actors actually do a great job, they bring sincerity or believability to a made up comic book world.  So that was actually good.

It's just painfully slow and plodding.  Those great actors are totally wasted in a movie that takes so much time on the origin story that they barely reach a conflict with the villain.  

I get it, you want to really humanize each character and it works to an extent, but there was too much fat on the bones that needed to be carved off. 

Overall Grade: C-  Imdb reviews really hate the Fantastic 4 (2015) movie giving it a 4.3/10 but I don't think it's all that bad.  The cast alone delivered good enough performances to pull it out of FLUNKY territory.  I just watched and reviewed Justice League (2017) and Imdb gave that 6.1/10 and it was way worse than Fantastic 4 (2015) in my opinion.

Anyways, Fantastic 4 (2015) has been watched and you don't ever need to see it again, but the acting made it worth the one time watch.  It's better than other hero flicks out there.  Instead of watching this again, google Miles Teller and watch one of his other movies.
